2. Who is Dattatreya?

Dattatreya is a great sage in the Indian spiritual tradition, regarded as the unified incarnation of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—the three cosmic principles of creation, preservation, and transformation. He symbolizes perfect wisdom, inner freedom, and the path of spiritual realization beyond religious boundaries.

Dattatreya is not merely a mythical figure but a living energy that continues to guide sincere seekers of Truth. In many traditions, He is considered the Adi Guru (the first Guru), who revealed the path of Kriya Yoga, Jnana (wisdom), Bhakti (devotion), and Avadhuta (absolute freedom).

Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji is honored as a modern-day embodiment of Dattatreya. Through Swamiji, the energy and wisdom of Dattatreya are shared with the world—through music, meditation, and teachings like Datta Kriya Yoga.

3. Is Swamiji a yoga teacher?

Unlike conventional yoga teachers, Swamiji is a Guru—a spiritual guide who transmits deep inner transformation. What Swamiji offers is not just technique, but spiritual energy (Shakti) that enables one to experience peace, awareness, and inner freedom from within.

4. What is Datta Kriya Yoga?

Datta Kriya Yoga is a system combining breathwork, sound, and meditation, transmitted by Dattatreya, designed to regulate prana (life force), improve physical and mental health, and support the spiritual journey.
This method is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners.

6. I’ve never done yoga before. Can I practice Datta Kriya Yoga?

Absolutely! The practices are designed to be simple and accessible, requiring no flexibility or physical strength. What matters most is your sincere intention to explore your inner self.

7. How is Datta Kriya Yoga different from regular yoga classes?

The key difference lies in its spiritual foundation. It’s not merely physical exercise or breath control—it’s a path to connect with the deep inner Self, where true peace and wisdom reside, guided by a living spiritual master, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji.

Swamiji teaches:
"It is very difficult to come close to a Sadguru. Only great merit accumulated over many lifetimes can bring a true Guru into your life."

8. Is Datta Kriya Yoga linked to any religion?

No. This method is not affiliated with any specific religion and is open to everyone, regardless of faith.
It is a path of direct experience of stillness and life energy within.

As Sri Swamiji says:
"It is important that every person should adhere to the religion into which he is born. While adhering to your religious principles, protect other religions. Live in harmony with people of other faiths."

9. Where should I start if I want to join?

You can start by joining our regular online Datta Kriya Yoga practice classes, held every Monday and Thursday from 7:30–8:30 PM (Vietnam time).
These sessions help maintain your connection and receive continued guidance on your path.

10. What is the course fee?

These classes are conducted on a non-profit, donation-based model.
In ancient times, students sought out their Guru through long journeys, patience, and service, which cultivated deep respect and readiness to receive sacred knowledge.

In that spirit, we ask learners to contribute with sincerity and gratitude.

  • For the first 3 months of Datta Kriya Yoga Online, the course fee is 500,000 VND/month.
  • After completing the 3 months, you can continue attending regular classes with voluntary donations.

The essence of this path is sharing, not commercialization.
